Our Purpose Windrise Retreat Center has been dedicated as a sanctuary and safe haven to support the growth, learning and healing of all who come here. The setting offers opportunity for individuals to connect with nature, with God, themselves or other people in a safe and sacred space.
Our LandWindrise Retreat Center is located in Metamora, Michigan, about 50 miles North of Detroit; 25 miles Southeast of Flint; and 85 miles Northeast of Ann Arbor. The site is a 140 acre farm bordered by the Flint River. The property is laced with hiking trails through forests, among hills, and open meadow and pasture lands. In 2007 Estela happily joined Greg Boudreau in matrimony. Greg is the General Manager of the Birminghan Conference Center in Beverly Hills, Michigan. His expertise in conference center operations bring a new refreshed energy to Windrise's operation. He is originally from Canada and has lived in Detroit area for 10 years. Estela and Greg reside in their home in Grosse Pointe when away from Windrise.
