Estela Monjo is a local artist and sculptor whose soulful works, often depicting the deep passion and triumph  of the human spirit, have gained her recognition internationally.  She is mother, grandmother, teacher, community organizer, spiritual companion, avid gardener, and founder of Windrise Spirituality Center in Metamora, Michigan. She continually experiences the awesome freedom that comes from surrendering to the creative process in all aspects of her life Estela is a graduate of the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation. Estela offers workshops in sculpting and creativity.  She also leads wilderness experiences and women's circles.

Since the 1980’s, Ms. Monjo trained with Detroit artist Janice Trimp and studied at The Center for Creative Studies, Detroit, MI. Her works are mainly in private collections and two Michigan galleries. Inspiration for her work comes from meditations, longings, desires, travel and her own integrative process. Ms. Monjo is the founder of Windrise Farm/Event Center and a director of the non-profit MI Corporation, Wellspring of the Spirit, manager for Windrise events. Her "living" experiences have included world travel, published writer, textile artist, quilt maker, single mother, supportive friend, and a favorite, grandmother. Her professional careers have included teaching, government analyst, property manager, owner of conference center and catering company, and co-led a variety of workshops, including," New Choices for Humanity" in Russia. Isha Lerner International astrologer, author, tarot scholar, and owner of the Power of Flower Healing Essences Company has authored four book/deck sets that are published in several languages around the world. Her works include the best selling Inner Child Cards: A Fairy Tale Tarot, The Power of Flower Cards, The Triple Goddess Tarot, and The Tarot of the Four Elements. She has integrated her research and work with flower essences into her astrological practice and she has lectured, taught, and shared flower essence healing techniques and therapy for twenty-five years. She was a member of the Findhorn Educational Community in Northern Scotland from 1976 to 1980 where the emphasis of the community focused on the co-creative relationship between humanity and nature, and, to attune to the forces of creation within.
