Creating works of art in clay is Estela’s gift and vocation. A gifted Michigan sculptor with Argentinian heritage, Estela has has shown her works in Grosse Pointe, Detroit, New Orleans, Portland Oregon, Chicago and Washington DC. Galeria Mariopsa is her studio with classes forming Grosse Pointe Woods and Metamora MI. Working from her personal experiences and inspirations, Estela creates unique sculptures and bas-relief pieces that celebrate the female form, the evolution of feminine power, mother-child relationships, and also the faces of interesting people that she encounters. Estela also accepts commissions to create a unique personal sculpture as a lasting celebration of loved ones, for weddings or other special events. Estela’s art works can be purchased as originals or part of a limited edition series. Sculpture mediums offered are clay, hyrdocal or bronze, all with a custom patina finish.
